We’ll honor the sabbath via worship services, visits to local historic sites, personal study time and evening devotional addresses.

We’ll have the opportunity to attend Sacrament Meeting and Sunday School at the Fayette Ward, about 10 minutes from camp. Those interested will be able to tour local historic sites in the afternoon. And our keynote address will be offered in the evening by Elder and Sister Pace.


sunday, September 3rd

  • 7:00 - 7:30 am: Gospel study and devotional at the main amphitheatre

  • 8:00 - 8:50 am: Breakfast (it’s Fast Sunday, but food will be available)

  • 9:30 - 12:15 pm: Sacrament Meeting and Sunday School at the nearby Fayette Ward.

  • 12:30 - 1:00 pm: Picnic lunch at the Fayette / Whitmer Farm visitors center.

  • 1:00 - 5:30 pm: Free and unstructured time for personal study / building connections with fellow attendees back at the Seneca Lake Camp. You’re also welcome to tour the Whitmer Farm visitors center and/or drive with others to tour local historic sites in the Palmyra area, including the Smith Farm, Grandin Building, Visitors Center, Hill Cumorah and Sacred Grove. For those who’ve visited these sites in the past, we’ll also offer a low-key service activity aimed at assisting area residents in need back at camp.

  • 6:00 - 7:00 pm: Dinner

  • 7:30 - 9:30 pm: Evening Fireside including special guest speaker Melissa Dalton-Bradford and keynote address by Elder and Sister Pace.
